Group leader: Linny

The Art History and Appreciation group meets once a month, at 11 am on a Thursday at Penhurst Gardens, Chipping Norton. During 2026 we are doing a whistle stop tour of art and how it's developed, from prehistoric times to now. The aim is to see different elements in a work, other than what might first appear to be.

We also consider art in the context of what is happening in the world at the time. Audience participation is actively encouraged!
