News items from the Committee, Group leaders and others connected to Chippy u3a appear here (and please visit the Events page regularly to see what's coming up). . . . But this page is only as good as the news that you all provide. Without it, the page will rapidly go out of date and end up covered in mould and cobwebs, at which point it will have to be shut down as a health hazard.
We're 25 years old this year! Come and celebrate with us in July
Chippy u3a celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. To mark the event we're having a Celebration Cream Tea at the Rugby Ground, Greystones, at 2.30 pm on Wednesday 15 July. For full details, including how to pay the modest £8.50 charge, see the poster on the Events page.
Cricket Lovers group: first walking cricket match, Tuesday 30 June
The first match - with our gleaming new equipment - takes place at Chipping Norton Cricket Club from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm on 30 June. Do come along - we guarantee there'll be no 85 mph bowling. For more details on the Cricket Lovers group click on its entry on the Groups page.

Did you remember to pay your membership fee for 2026?
A reminder for all members: if you didn't pay your annual membership fee by 28 February, your membership will have lapsed and you will not be able to continue with your groups until you renew. If you have simply forgotten please pay as soon as possible.
An important note: when you join or renew you must submit a form as well as pay your membership fee. If you simply pay without completing the form, then you can't be registered on the National u3a's Beacon system; we can't count you as a member until we receive your form.
