News items from the Committee, Group leaders and others connected to Chippy u3a appear here (and please visit the Events page regularly to see what's coming up). . . . But this page is only as good as the news that you all provide. Without it, the page will rapidly go out of date and end up covered in mould and cobwebs, at which point it will have to be shut down as a health hazard.
Cricket Lovers group: first full meeting, May 2026
After a very successful inaugural meeting of the new group for Cricket Lovers on 2 April, led by a well-known local cricket expert and offering everything from cricket talk to cricket matches, we can now reveal that the first meeting proper will be held at Chipping Norton Cricket Club at 12.30 pm on Saturday 9 May. Do come along, whether you attended the inaugural meeting or not. Look for the Cricket Lovers group on the Groups page.

Did you remember to pay your membership fee for 2026?
A reminder for all members: if you didn't pay your annual membership fee by 28 February, your membership will have lapsed and you will not be able to continue with your groups until you renew. If you have simply forgotten please pay as soon as possible.
An important note: when you join or renew you must submit a form as well as pay your membership fee. If you simply pay without completing the form, then you can't be registered on the National u3a's Beacon system; we can't count you as a member until we receive your form.
