| When: | Fortnightly on Tuesday afternoons 2:30 pm Our first meeting is on 13 April 2026 |
Group leader: Liz
Our aim is to meet fortnightly in each other's gardens through the gardening season (March/April to October) to enjoy and learn from each other's gardens, to discover what works or doesn't work in our shared local conditions, and to swap ideas (also seeds and cuttings?) and get inspiration . . . and then coffee.
No experience is required, just a keen interest and a garden in any state - from a wilderness to the dizzy heights of the NGS!
We meet on Tuesday afternoons, depending on members' availability. Please note that we are now full for this season - there are only so many people we can fit into our own gardens! - but do contact Liz on the Group Email above in case any spaces become available during this season, or if you'd like to register your interest for next season.
The idea for this group emerged from enjoyment in visiting other people's gardens, and the realisation that in many ways our 'normal' gardens command as much interest as the great gardens of the National Trust, and hold more practical potential.
