Group leader: Anthony

This group meets once a month and its purpose is to encourage and share and think about whatever is written.

What sort of writing?

• Short answer: Any.
• Long answer: Short stories, poetry, longer stories (even a novel), plays, essays (politics, travel, cookery – you name it), criticism, even philosophical thoughts, and anything else (translations?) that inspires you.

At each meeting the group leader will suggest a subject and members then write a piece in their own time.

Feel free! Write as you wish. Be experimental, be Dickensian (maybe). Your piece need not be newly written, but please make every effort to entertain, inform and educate; to amuse and move too.
